The Severn Academies Educational Trust’s Growing Brilliance Awards recognise the success of children in leadership, community and diversity, enrichment and personal development.
Matthew Carpenter, chief officer of the trust, said: “We are delighted to have launched these annual awards honouring the accomplishments and contributions which our pupils make to their school communities, alongside academic effort and success.”
The trust schools, Baxter College, Kidderminster, Stourport High School, Stourport Primary Academy, Wilden All Saints CE Primary, St Bartholomew’s CE Primary, Wolverley Sebright Academy, Far Forest Lea Memorial CE Primary Academy and Hartlebury CE Primary, nominated one pupil from each key stage for each of the four categories.
With more than 70 pupils receiving certificates at the ceremony held in the theatre at Baxter College, each school also chose one outstanding overall winner.
Mr Carpenter added: “We have a culture that values brilliance and sets high expectations across our family of schools.
“The awards are just one example of how our trust promotes collaborative efforts that benefit our children, young people and celebrates our community.”
