West Indies and Australia will go head-to-head in the second Test of a three-match series from Thursday (July 3) at the National Cricket Stadium in Grenada. The hosts will be looking to level the series after losing the first Test of the Frank Worrell Trophy by 159 runs. In the series opener, Australia were put under major pressure after being bowled out for 180 in the first innings as they conceded a 10-run lead. However, Travis Head was once again Australia’s saviour with half-centuries in both innings. Josh Hazlewood took a five-wicket haul in the first innings. Australia are set to get a major boost as Steve Smith will return to the playing XI in place of Josh Inglis. Smith missed the series opener due to a finger injury that he suffered while fielding the 2025 World Test Championship Final at Lord’s. Australia have made no other changes to their playing XI. No changes are expected in the West Indies’ line-up either.
