Glastonbury fans won’t have long to wait until they find out the identity of Saturday’s secret Pyramid Stage act. Since the schedule was announced earlier this month, fans have been pondering who the mystery artist, billed as Patchwork on the official line-up, could be. So far there are a few rumours floating around but the identity of the secret performer might not be revealed until the moment they step out on stage. Last time Glastonbury put a band on the Pyramid Stage under a pseudonym was in 2023, when Foo Fighters showed up as the Churnups. The US rock band had been dropping hints on social media that they could be the mystery act. But this year, whoever Patchwork is, it doesn’t appear that they want to reveal their identity too soon. Here’s what you need to know about Patchwork’s set, including who it might be, what time it starts and who it clashes with. At the moment, we don’t have confirmation on who Patchwork will be and it’s not clear whether the act, or the Glastonbury organisers, will reveal their identity ahead of time or not. The favourite for now appears to be Pulp, who have just released a new album. It has been 30 years since the Sheffield band’s famous headline set in 1995, so some fans think it’s the perfect time for them to return to the Pyramid Stage. One major clue that Patchwork could be Pulp came when keyboardist Candida Doyle told Jo Whiley in a recent interview that she had been working on a patchwork quilt. Social media account Secretglasto, which has accurately predicted secret sets in the past, also have their money on Pulp. Patchwork will take to the Pyramid Stage at 6.15pm and their set will last for an hour, ending at 7.15pm. They are playing after John Fogerty and before Raye.
