Lola Young will return to Worthy Farm this evening for her third appearance at Glastonbury with a one-hour set packed full of her chart-topping music. The 24-year-old singer has had an incredible year. Her viral hit Messy spent four consecutive weeks at number one on the UK charts, becoming the longest run for a British female solo artist since Adele’s Easy On Me in 2021. In the past 12 months, she also collaborated with Tyler, the Creator on his album Chromakopia and received several award nominations. Lola Young performed on the Silver Hayes stage in 2022, having gained prominence after her song Together in Electric Dreams was featured in the 2021 John Lewis Christmas advert. Two weeks ago, she performed at Capital’s Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium, where she blew the crowd away with her powerful live vocals. Lola Young will play the Woodsies on Friday afternoon. She is scheduled to perform from 4.30pm to 5.30pm. Lola will follow 90s Britpop outfit Shed Seven. Highlights from the five main stages will be shown on the BBC iPlayer, as well as on BBC One and Two at various points over the weekend. Throughout the weekend, fans will be able to watch continuous live streams from the Pyramid, Other, West Holts, Park and Woodsies stages.
