The bugs are back and this time players need to know the weakness of Sentient Pest Gnoster. This fight features two bosses, but thankfully one health bar, though they do join together into a sort of organic mecha. Regardless, if you don’t have a big cup or boot to deal with the insects, you need to hit ‘em with what hurts them most.
Sentient Pest Gnoster weakness
Sentient Pest Gnoster is weak to fire damage in Elden Ring Nightreign. The old saying is right: kill it with fire. That’s some good news, as fire seems to be the most common affinity damage in the game, making it easy to acquire. Both parts of the boss are also weak to strike and pierce damage, but only the moth is weak to standard and slash.
It’s worth noting Sentient Pest is resistant to magic, lightning, and holy, so if you have any of these weapons, you will be dealing significantly less damage to Gnoster. In addition to this, the scorpion part of the duo is resistant to standard and slash weapons, don’t hit him with sharp blades – hammers, arrows, and rapier-like weapons only!
