Preparations are underway for one of the most anticipated weddings of the year鈥擩eff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez鈥檚. Despite swirling protests, rumours, and controversies, the couple is set to get married in a lavish ceremony in Venice, Italy. The celebration is expected to draw a star-studded guest list, including Hollywood celebrities, political leaders, and industry powerhouses.
Amid a lot of plans and preparations, speculations are rife that the couple will be dishing out special gifts to the guests from the shelves of Laguna B.
Jeff Bezos And Lauren Sanchez鈥檚 Wedding Gifts
As per a Daily Mail report, the guests will receive goody bags from Laguna B, a Venice-based glassware company. Reports also suggest that the guests will be gifted 鈥渙pulent鈥 items, specifics of which remain undisclosed. On the other hand, all the attending invitees have been asked not to bring gifts for the couple but to make charitable donations instead.
It is worth mentioning that Bezos and Sanchez have been sourcing 80 per cent of their wedding foods from Venetian vendors, including the Murano glassware maker Laguna B and the city鈥檚 oldest pastry maker, Rosa Salva.

What Is Laguna B?
The name has been hogging headlines ever since Jeff Bezos and his journalist fiancee decided to choose return gifts for their guests. According to the company website, Marie Brandolini was the one behind laying its foundation after she invented the Goto in 1994. A Parisian glass design pioneer herself, Marie was inspired by Murano masters who made glass cups with leftovers from their work in the furnace.
She reinterpreted the process and created the Goto collection. The same year, she also established Laguna B鈥檚 first studio in Palazzo Brandolini. She went on to adopt a personal and experimental approach to production and spent days in the furnace with the glass masters. Inspired by them, Marie codified her own recipes and methods and ended up designing each piece herself by selecting and assembling bits of glass canes and murrine with the greatest care.
With her determination and strong vision, Marie established Laguna B as the first Murano glass company to go direct-to-consumer and launched its first website in 2001. Goto鈥檚 instant success, combined with Marie鈥檚 creativity, took the tumblers on display worldwide.
After leading the company for more than a decade, Marie鈥檚 son, Marcantonio Brandolini, took over the duties in 2016 as Laguna B鈥檚 artistic director. While Marie was the one to set the innovative and experimental approach that characterises the company, her son evolved it, focusing on 鈥渂eing contemporary.鈥
