Donald Trump has said the United States has signed a deal with China. The US President鈥檚 remark came while speaking at the Big Beautiful Bill event.
鈥淓verybody wants to make a deal and have a part of it. Remember a few months ago, the press was saying, 鈥榊ou really have anybody of any interest?鈥 Well, we just signed with China yesterday. We are having some great deals,鈥 Trump said.
The US President also asserted that deals will not be made with every other nation.
鈥淲e鈥檙e not going to make deals with everybody. For some, we are just going to send them a letter, saying thank you very much. You are to pay 25, 35, 45 per cent. That鈥檚 the easy way to do it, and my people don鈥檛 want to do it that way,鈥 Trump said.
鈥淭hey want to do some of it, but they want to make more deals than I would do,鈥 he said.
鈥淏ut we鈥檙e having some great deals,鈥 he added.
