Vishnu Manchu Visits 12 Jyotirlingas Ahead Of Kannappa Release: ‘Heart Is Full’

Vishnu Manchu’s much-anticipated mythical epic Kannappa, helmed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, is slated to release in theatres this Friday. While the promotions are in full swing, the actor-producer decided to take a spiritual tour. Vishnu Manchu shared that he completed a journey to visit all 12 holy Jyotirlingas across the country, and the last one was his darshan at the Sri Sailam Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple.
Vishnu Manchu shared a series of pictures from his visit at the renowned temple. The actor was seen dressed in a complete traditional look which included a golden kurta pyjama and a religious orange stole around his neck. In the caption, he wrote, “Twelve Jyotirlingas. One journey. Eternal peace. Just completed the sacred darshan at Sri Sailam Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple — one of the twelve revered Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. With this visit, my journey to all twelve Jyotirlinga temples comes to a divine close. My heart is full. My soul feels blessed. Life right now is filled with nothing but positivity, gratitude, and peace.”

While concluding his note, Vishnu Manchu noted that on the last leg of his spiritual journey, he was looking forward to the next phase of his life which starts with the release of his film Kannappa. He mentioned, “As I stand at the edge of this spiritual milestone, I now look forward to the next chapter #kannappa , releasing worldwide on June 27. A film close to my heart. A story that reflects the very spirit I carry today.”
Vishnu Manchu’s Kannappa boasts an ensemble cast and a powerful story rooted in Indian mythology. Mohanlal, Prabhas, Akshay Kumar have special cameos in the film. Vishnu Machu plays Thinnadu, a valiant warrior who transforms into Bhaktha Kannappa, Lord Shiva’s faithful servant. Akshay Kumar plays Lord Shiva, Prabhas offers passion as Rudra, while Mohanlal delivers a stunning performance as Kirata.
The film features other noteworthy cast members including Kajal Aggarwal, Preity Mukundhan, Brahmanandam and Sarath Kumar. Twenty Four Frames Factory and AVA Entertainment are co-producing the film and Vishnu Manchu himself wrote the script for the film. Kannappa will be released in India on June 27.
