Actor Vikram Prabhu, who has appeared in films such as Love Marriage, Sigaram Thodu and Wagah is all set to make his Telugu film debut in Ghaati. Starring Anushka Shetty in the lead, Vikram Prabhu will be seen playing a key role in it. In a recent interview he has revealed that he has lost weight for the film. Vikram Prabhu Recalls Losing Weight For Ghaati Talking to IANS, Vikram Prabhu said he had to lose weight for Ghaati, even when he ws posed with the challenge of gaining weight for his role in director Shanmugha Priyan’s romantic entertainer Love Marriage. He said “I was simultaneously shooting for both the films. In Love Marriage, I had to have a chubby look while in Ghaati I had to sport a lean look. I lost over eight kgs while shooting for Ghaati.” The makers of the film have revealed that Vikram Prabhu plays the male lead character named Desi Raju in the film. In a video glimpse video that was released on the occasion of Vikram Prabhu’s birthday earlier this year, Vikram Prabhu is seen being chased by the police in a dense forests. This then leads to intense action sequences where he takes on the bad guys. The action-packed sequences end with a lighter note when Vikram and Anushka share happy moments like riding their bikes together, while flashing smiles at each other, indicating that their chemistry will be a key highlight. Ghaati’s tagline Victim, Criminal, Legend indicates that the film’s unique narrative, will explore the lines between good and evil, survival and morality. The film is directed by Krish Jagarlamudi.
