BBC Radio 2 presenter Vernon Kay has heaped accolades on television icon Noel Edmonds, labelling the 76 year-old as “absolutely jacked” and claiming he “looks no older than 45.” During his stint on Radio 2, the 51 year-old shared his high regard for Edmonds after watching him in Noel Edmonds’ New Zealand Adventure. The new ITV travelogue showcases the Deal or No Deal star as he explores New Zealand, embarking on a fresh chapter following his half-century tenure in television. The series has elicited a mixed response from ITV audiences, with one viewer dismissing it as “laughable for all the wrong reasons.” Vernon, who caught the programme while joining co-host Paddy McGuinness on Gogglebox, stood up for the show and was clearly taken by Edmonds’ zest for life, optimistic outlook, and impressive physical condition, reports the Manchester Evening News . The dad-of-two remarked: “Whatever you think of Noel Edmonds when he’s talking about crystals and energies and positivity, whatever you think. Because I know what you’ll think – you’ll just stereotype and jump straight to conclusions. Bit bonkers. I don’t care. Lay me under a crystal bed! Seriously, sort out my ions. Because Noel Edmonds looks absolutely fantastic.” Praising Edmonds’ robust health, ex-model Verbon couldn’t help but express amazement at how well he has maintained his looks: “76 years old – doesn’t look a day older than 45. He hasn’t changed, not a chance.” Noel Edmonds, widely recognised for presenting the popular Noel’s House Party, made the move to New Zealand alongside his wife Liz in 2018, where they’ve dived headfirst into managing a hospitality business within the serene surrounds of Ngatimoti. Edmonds’ impressively sculpted build has captured attention, with admirers able to glimpse past his lifestyle to acknowledge his strikingly chiselled physique. “Take a look at the guns on Noel Edmonds. He is absolutely jacked,” Kay remarked, commending Edmonds’ commitment to wellness and the beneficial impact he has on mental health awareness. “It’s all about happiness, positivity – we need more people like that in the world,” he endorsed, urging others to tune into the show. “Treat yourself. Noel Edmonds’ New Zealand Adventure – I think it’s on ITV1 and the ITV Hub. He looks fabulous. He really does.” Vernon Kay enticed his audience even further by hinting at one risque虂 opening segment: “It starts with a shower scene… At first, we did what everyone’s going to do – a bit of a laugh – but trust me, he looks great.” For those eager to delve into the series, every instalment of Noel Edmonds’ Kiwi Adventure can presently be viewed on ITVX.
