Youth Icon Rishabh Pant has teamed up with the World Bank to promote awareness about cleaner air and the importance of collective action in South Asia for a sustainable environment.
In an inspiring campaign message, Pant likens the world to a dressing room, emphasizing that we are all part of one team with a shared vision for protecting the planet. He relates this to the core of Indian culture, epitomized by the Sanskrit phrase 鈥榁asudhaiva Kutumbakam,鈥 which means 鈥淭he world is one family.鈥
Pant鈥檚 involvement lends significant support to the World Bank鈥檚 ongoing efforts to strengthen regional cooperation on air quality in South Asia. The campaign underscores that collaborative approaches to pollution control are 45% more cost-effective than individual local efforts.
Pant, who has inspired millions on the cricket field, is now using his influence to champion the critical cause of environmental awareness.
This initiative goes beyond mere advocacy; it serves as a powerful reminder that athletes, institutions, and individuals can unite to create real impact. With Pant as a prominent voice in this movement, the aim is to connect with young people and communities across borders.

Pant is currently in England, playing the five-Test series under the banner of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy. He was one of India鈥檚 best players in the first match at Headingley, scoring a century in each innings. He became the first Indian batter to achieve that.
India will want him to improve his catching behind the wickets and maintain the consistency in the second match, which begins on July 2, Wednesday.
