Michael Bisping previously addressed his issues with Jake Paul and paid him some credit
Ahead of Jake Paul’s fight with Mike Tyson, which Michael Bisping was extremely critical of, the UFC legend spoke about what his problem is with the controversial star.
The former UFC middleweight champion told Mirror Fighting that if ‘The Problem Child’ truly wants to be respected, he needs to fight an opponent who is on a level playing field with him.
Bisping did give him some credit for the success that he has had, with it being hard to deny from a business standpoint that Paul and his team have expertly navigated the sport.
“Jake Paul, listen, I’ve got nothing personal against Jake Paul, but he just likes to attack the UFC, he likes to attack MMA fighters, all while cherry-picking guys that aren’t boxers. Go and box a boxer, go box a boxer or go and fight someone your own age. That’s all you got to do and, I will give you respect. As a businessman, he’s made a tremendous amount of money, and I applaud him for that because ultimately that’s what we’re all trying to do.”
