Tyson Fury's net worth nearly doubles after Oleksandr Usyk fight as new 拢161.9m figure emerges

The fortune of former world heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury nearly doubled following his unification title bout with Oleksandr Usyk, it has been disclosed. The self-proclaimed Gypsy King’s net worth rocketed from 拢82.2million to 拢161.9m in the 12 months leading up to September 2024, as per recent accounts lodged with Companies House. Tyson Fury Ltd is the firm through which the fighter manages his property affairs, public relations and boxing activities. Fury was defeated in the high-profile fight against Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia in May 2024 鈥 a match that significantly boosted his financial standing. The rematch, which Fury also lost in December 2024, will be reflected in the company’s forthcoming set of accounts. Despite the substantial increase in shareholder funds, Fury drew a salary of 拢100,000 for the year, a decrease from 拢150,000, according to CityAM . These figures emerge after a company established by Fury for property buying, selling and leasing was forcibly closed at the beginning of 2025. Greenwaybalmoral Ltd, registered to an address near Lancaster and listing Fury as its sole director, was founded in January 2023. However, due to its failure to submit any accounts since its inception, Companies House issued a formal notice in December 2024 that it was on the verge of being struck off the register of businesses. The company was subsequently forcibly closed in February this year. In January, Fury seemed to have walked away from a 拢100m jackpot by declaring his retirement from boxing for the fourth time, following a second loss to Usyk. The 36-year-old made the surprising announcement in a brief video clip on Instagram, just three weeks after his contentious points defeat in Riyadh. By April, boxing promoter Bob Arum was adamant that Tyson Fury “will never fight again”. However, later that same month, Matchroom boss Eddie Hearn expressed optimism that boxing enthusiasts might still witness Anthony Joshua face off against Fury in the future. Speaking to Sky Sports , Hearn said: “I feel like Tyson Fury’s a bit of a tease really, isn’t he? “I mean, all we see on Instagram is him. Even today, I’ve come out of the press conference, went on Instagram, [Fury is] there with his wraps on doing 12 rounds of boxing. “Why are you doing this to us? What are you doing? “Just let us know either way. Put us out of our misery.”
