TikToker Kashif Zameer Arrested Again in Lahore with 13 Armed Guards

Controversial TikToker Kashif Zameer has been arrested again in Lahore, this time in the Iqbal Town area, following the circulation of videos on social media showing him and his private armed guards brandishing weapons in public.

The Crime Control Department (CCD) swiftly took action and apprehended Zameer along with 13 of his heavily armed guards. The arrest came after videos circulated online, raising concerns about public safety and the illegal display of weapons. Cases have been filed against both Zameer and his security personnel at the CCD police station, with charges related to the illegal possession and display of firearms, as well as endangering public safety.

During the arrest, authorities confiscated a cache of weapons from the guards. The police are now investigating the legality of the firearms and the guards’ deployment, as well as any potential violations of the law regarding armed security.

Zameer, known for his extravagant lifestyle and social media controversies, has been involved in numerous legal issues in the past, including fraud and impersonation. Earlier in April, Lahore police had also registered cases against him and a police constable for mocking the police uniform on social media. The incident involved Zameer presenting a money-filled tray to a police official at a wedding and showering him with cash, which allegedly undermined the dignity of the police force. The case was registered under the Pakistan Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) and other relevant laws.
