The academic calendar for schools was released here on Saturday.
Thrissur will host the State School Arts Festival this academic year, while the Kerala School Sports and Games will be held in the State capital, Minister for General Education V. Sivankutty said.
The Special School Arts Festival will be held in Malappuram, and the TTI/PPTTI Arts Festival in Wayanad. Palakkad will hold the State School Science Festival.
The Disha higher studies expo and international career conclave will be held at Kottayam.
The State Teachers’ Award and school performance award distribution will be held in the State capital.
Thiruvananthapuram will become a permanent venue for Teachers’ Day observance and award distribution. This year’s Teachers’ Day observance will be held on September 9 as September 5 is Thiruvonam day.
The first term examinations will be held from August 20 to 27, second term examinations from December 11 to 18, and the annual examinations for classes I to IX in the first week of March.
