Uorfi Javed, who was placed in the same car as social media sensation and actor Apoorva Mukhija on Day 1 of The Traitors, has frequently found herself at odds with her. The duo have also engaged in nasty fights, with both pointing fingers at each other. On Friday, Uorfi took to Instagram and posted a group photo comprising a majority of contestants from The Traitors, including Apoorva. She also offered her two cents on reality shows, expressing that it isn’t as “easy as it looks”.
Uorfi Javed’s group photo from The Traitors sets consisted of Apoorva Mukhija, Jannat Zubair, Sufi Motiwala, Sudhanshu Pandey, Jasmin Bhasin, and others. Her caption read, “During a reality show what people don’t understand, that it looks easy from the outside. Inside it’s a different story, emotions are high. You see 1 hour, we spend 24 hours without phone or any contact from the outside world . It ain’t as easy as it looks for everyone. Easy to judge but difficult to understand even for people inside . We also don’t understand (sic).” Take a look:

How did things go downhill between Uorfi and Apoorva?
In the first episode, Uorfi Javed and Apoorva Mukhija pledged loyalty through a playful ‘Behen Code’. However, tensions rose when Uorfi repeatedly asked Apoorva why she was crying. Overwhelmed, Apoorva snapped, which upset Uorfi. Uorfi later commented that Apoorva wasn’t on her professional level and should show more respect.
A few days later, on June 15, Apoorva posted a YouTube video sharing her side of the story. She disclosed that off-camera, Uorfi publicly insulted her, which left her shaken. Apoorva explained that before joining the show, she had an argument with her mother and was promised three phone calls home. But when she asked to make a call, she was denied, leading to her emotional breakdown.
While Jannat Zubair comforted her privately, Apoorva asked her to keep it confidential. When Uorfi questioned her about it, she responded, “Not everything is about you, Uorfi.” Apoorva then described the events once the cameras were off. After the task ended, Uorfi called out to her, saying, “Bhch*d Apoorva idhar aao.” Trying to stay calm, Apoorva replied, “Aaram se,” which further triggered Uorfi.
Uorfi then shouted at Apoorva, saying, “Tumhe pata hai tum kisse baat kar rahi ho? Main tumhare level pe hoon kya? Tumhari aukaat nahi hai mujhse baat karne ki.”
Breaking down, Apoorva said, “I was still crying… mujhe bahot zyada bezzati hui thi, yaar. This was my worst fear — someone saying that I’m just an influencer and that I don’t deserve to be on the show. I already felt that way. I felt like an imposter, and I knew the audience would agree with her. I just felt so bad.”
