Popular twin influencers Surabhi and Samriddhi Mehra, also known as the viral Chinki-Minki duo, have officially announced their professional split. After years of professional collaborations, and winning hearts with their energetic and humorous performances on social media, the two announced the shocking news via a note on Instagram, leaving fans emotional. Despite the split which is purely creative in nature, the Mehra sisters鈥 bond remains strong as ever.
The note, shared on their joint handle on the photo-sharing application, read, 鈥淲ith a heavy heart, we are now parting our ways as Jodi. We鈥檝e decided to explore life on our individual journeys from here on.鈥 The sister duo was also part of The Kapil Sharma Show.

In the caption of the post, the sisters highlighted their deep gratitude toward their audience for their love and support and urged fans to keep showering love on them. Earlier in a chat with Free Press Journal, Surabhi and Samriddhi Mehra opened up about the bond they share with each other. 鈥淭here is a twin telepathy bond that we share. Our nature is such that we know what the other person is thinking. So it has helped us a lot to excel in our lives. We can not trust anyone except for both of us. As we grow together, the bond is getting stronger and stronger day by day,鈥 Samridhi mentioned.
On challenges they often face as a duo in the entertainment industry, Surabhi said that it becomes difficult for people to choose between her and Samriddhi which prompts them to replace the sisters with someone else. She stated, 鈥淲e do auditions a lot together, and people are sometimes like, 鈥榃e have to choose one of you鈥. I think that is the challenge that we have been facing nowadays. People think they need one of us, but since they can not decide, they change their plan and take someone else.鈥 鈥淲e are open to work in individual projects too,鈥 Surabhi added.
