Metro…In Dino
The spiritual sequel to the 2007 film Life In A…Metro stars Fatima Sana Sheikh alongside Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Ali Fazal, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Neena Gupta and Anupam Kher. Directed by Anurag Basu, the poignant drama will be released in theatres on July 4.
Param Sundari
Directed by Tushar Jalota, the film introduces a fresh pair of Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor in a heartfelt tale of cross-cultural love where two worlds collide. Set against the breathtaking backwaters of Kerala, this love story features Janhvi as a South Indian Girl. On the other hand, Sidharth essays a North Indian boy. It is set to release on July 25.
If intense dramas are your vibe, Saiyaara is a must-watch. In this Mohit Suri directorial, Aneet Padda plays the female lead, whereas Ananya Panday’s cousin Ahaan Panday makes his much-awaited debut. The story explores themes like deep love, emotions and heartbreak. Well, the title track, released a few weeks back, has already become an anthem of the year. It will release on July 18.
Son Of Sardaar 2
Fans are eagerly waiting for this sequel to the 2012 action-comedy titled Son Of Sardaar, and we don’t blame them. Ajay Devgn plays the lead in the most awaited movie, whereas Mrunal Thakur and Neeru Bajwa are also a part of it. Releasing on July 25, the film also stars Vindu Dara Singh, Mukul Dev and many others.
Starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri, Dhadak 2 is scheduled for release on August 1. It is directed by Shazia Iqbal. The plot revolves around an intercaste love story and the challenges due to politics. The first installment of the film marked the debut of Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor.
Set for an Indian Independence week release, this Ayan Mukerji directorial has been making the right noise. From Jr NTR’s menacing role as an antagonist to Kiara Advani’s stunning bikini scene and Hrithik Roshan’s gripping action sequences, fans have all the reasons to watch in the theatres worldwide on August 14, 2025.
Up next, there is Thama, lined up as one of the biggest releases of the year. With Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna headlining the vampire love story, cinephiles are in for a treat. FYI, the film is a part of the Maddock Supernatural Universe, which includes films like Stree and Munjya.
The list would be incomplete without Alia Bhatt’s most anticipated flick – a spy thriller, titled Alpha. Sharvari also plays the lead in the film, which is the first female-led YRF Spy Universe project. All Raanjhanaa fans are in for a cinematic delight as Aanand L Rai returns with the spiritual sequel to the blockbuster love story. This intense romantic drama stars Dhanush in the lead role, and its music is composed by AR Rahman.
