Telangana to get dedicated PG Medical Center with 50 PG medical Seats in Husnabad

Siddipet: Health Minister Damodara Rajanarasimha on Friday announced the establishment of a Postgraduate (PG) Medical Centre in Husnabad. The new centre will offer 50 PG medical seats and is slated to begin admissions from the next academic year. The announcement was made during the Minister鈥檚 visit to Husnabad, where he inaugurated a 100-bed Mother and Child Hospital and laid the foundation stone for a 150-bed general hospital, creating a combined 250-bed capacity in the town. He was joined by fellow ministers Ponnam Prabhakar, Tummala Nageswara Rao, and Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, underscoring the significance of the development. Once home to a modest 50-bed healthcare facility, Husnabad is now on the path to becoming a regional healthcare hub, with a full-fledged multi-speciality hospital. The hospital is expected to be completed within two years. The event was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Medical and Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha, Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar and Komatireddy Venkata Reddy, Chief Minister鈥檚 Advisor Vem Narender Reddy, Government Advisor K Kesava Rao, Hyderabad Mayor Gadwala Vijayalakshmi, MP Asaduddin Owaisi, Rajya Sabha member Anil Kumar Yadav, and several MLAs.
