A special screening of Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh’s Sitaare Zameen Par was recently held in Delhi. President of India, Droupadi Murmu, along with her family, attended the screening at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. After watching the film, the President shared her review for SZP on her X (formerly Twitter) account. And now, unseen photos from the SZP screening at the Rashtrapati Bhavan have surfaced online. In one photo, Aamir and his girlfriend Gauri Spratt met the President. Aamir-Gauri meet President of India Aamir Khan Productions shared unseen photos of the actor and team SZP from the special screening. The photos were posted on Instagram with the caption that read, “The Hon’ble President of India watched Sitaare Zameen Par at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, and we are deeply grateful for the warmth and generosity extended by her, her family, and her staff. Everyone involved with the film was welcomed and cared for with such genuine kindness and affection. The note concluded with Aamir’s team thanking President Droupadi Murmu. “We are truly humbled and overjoyed by how much the President appreciated the film. From all of us on Team #SitaareZameenPar – thank you, ma’am. The film, directed by RS Prasanna, was theatrically released on June 20, 2025.
