Shriya Pilgaonkar is currently awaiting the release of her upcoming web series, Mandala Murders, with Vaani Kapoor, Suvreen Chawla and Vaibhav Raj Gupta. Backed by Yash Raj Films and created by Gopi Purthan, the show will arrive on the OTT platform Netflix on July 25. Ahead of its release, Shriya talked about the show and expressed happiness in collaborating with the production house, YRF, once again, after her debut film, Fan (2016).
She said in a statement, 鈥淚 am thrilled to reunite with YRF after my debut with Fan. Collaborating with the fantastic Mandala Murders crew has been an exciting adventure. This character is unlike anything I鈥檝e ever played before, an entirely different avatar, and I鈥檓 grateful to Adi Sir and Gopi Sir for entrusting me with this part,鈥 as quoted by Telegraph India.
According to Netflix, the show is a first-of-its-kind mythological crime thriller that promises to pull audiences into a world where every clue leads deeper into a long-buried prophecy.
Details regarding the actress鈥 character are not yet disclosed. Vaani, on the other hand, will be seen playing the role of detective, Rea Thomas, investigating a string of strange murders.
On Monday, the makers dropped a new poster of Mandala Murders and announced its official streaming date. Sharing the post on Instagram, YRF wrote in the caption, 鈥淗ar vardaan mein ek shraap chhupa hai, mol chukane ka waqt jald aane wala hai. Watch Mandala Murders, out 25 July, only on Netflix.鈥

Coming back to Shriya, she made her big screen debut with the action thriller film Fan in 2016 opposite superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
She recently garnered appreciation for her performance in the thriller web show, Chhal Kapat: The Deception. In this series, she played SP Devika Rathore, a bright and intelligent police officer investigating a serious crime. The show also featured celebs like Ragini Dwivedi, Tuhina Das and Yahhve Sharma in significant roles.
Besides this, she has also been a part of a number of web shows like Mirzapur, Taaza Khabar, The Broken News, The Great Indian Bride and Crackdown, among others.
