Seventeen river gauge stations in India exceed warning levels, with four in severe flood condition, particularly in Assam and Maharashtra. While no stations are experiencing extreme floods surpassing historical peaks, thirteen others are above normal flood situations across multiple states. High inflows are reported in 34 reservoir and barrage sites, including major reservoirs like Srisailam and Hirakud.
