Sara Ali Khan is making waves with her latest film, Metro In Dino. The recently released film has opened to largely positive reviews, and Sara鈥檚 aunt, Saba Pataudi, couldn鈥檛 help but pen a heartfelt note for the actress鈥檚 success. However, fans were also quick to notice Sara鈥檚 rumoured ex, Veer Pahariya, in one of the photos.
Saba wrote on Instagram, 鈥淪ara鈥. While I don鈥檛 travel in a metro ? I sure wish I鈥檇 been there on this journey with u! Babysitting you, watching you grow鈥 Holding you in my lap to you hugging your huge teddy bear, which was as tall as u too!鈥

She added, 鈥淵ou protecting Iggy, while Iggy now protects you too! And all your brothers. And the father, who鈥檚 meant to protect you!;) Moments with my Amma, your grandmother. Our last premiere together 鉂わ笍 And wish I鈥檇 shared the other too! SO proud ?Love 鉂わ笍 U Always. Keep shining 鉁笍.鈥 However, what caught most people鈥檚 attention was that Veer Pahariya made it to the background of one of the photos.
Meanwhile, Metro In Dino received a 4-star rating from us. Our review read, 鈥淚t has its heart and soul in the right place. It is sublime to the core. Much like Anurag鈥檚 earlier works, this too shifts the spotlight on the raw tenderness of the man-woman relationship. It pays an ode to Irrfan and KK. And in a cameo appearance, it features Imtiaz Ali, yet another filmmaker who has successfully been able to bring out the sparkle, intricacies and wringing agony of modern-day relationships. When you鈥檝e so many creative Czars in spirit and passion associated with a piece of art, how can it possibly go wrong? Metro In Dino turns out to be the big-screen love story we鈥檝e been waiting for and deserve.鈥
鈥淓ven at 2 hours 42 minutes, there鈥檚 hardly a moment where Metro In Dino loses pace. Anurag manages to hold your attention for close to three hours, and to be able to do that in a romantic drama is an achievement in itself. The comedy, the drama, the tension 鈥 Metro In Dino nails it all! The first half is terrific, extraordinary, making you laugh and think and shed a tear or two, all at once. The action drops a bit in the second half, but that hardly impacts the narrative. And what鈥檚 interesting and special is that the film is sprinkled with references from Life In A Metro,鈥 the review also mentioned.
