The San Francisco 49ers have arguably the best tight end in the NFL currently with George Kittle. After they gave him a lucrative four-year, $76.4 million contract extension this offseason, there seems to be a good chance that he will finish his career with the 49ers as well.In recent years, there have been a lot of high-level tight ends. Kittle, Travis Kelce, and Rob Gronkowski all playing at the same time was an absolute treat for the fans.All three players are going to be among the best to ever play the tight end position. When it came to Kittle, he did not hold back and ranked Kittle the best tight end out of the group he was discussing.”All right, this is easy. I’m going to answer, totally,” Gronkowski said. “George Kittle, by far. He was All-Pro last year. He had over 1,000 yards. He had over 10 touchdowns. The best in the game right now so that’s an easy number one.”Kittle is entering the 2025 NFL season at age 31. He still has a lot of good football left in him and will be a huge part of San Francisco’s attempt to get back to being a Super Bowl contender.During the 2024 season with the 49ers, Kittle played in 15 games. They signed him to a massive five-year, $265 million deal. Kittle will be key in helping the young quarterback get back on track after a down year last season.It will be interesting to see what kind of season Kittle is able to put together in San Francisco.
