Registrations open today for  World Youth Skills Day workshops

The Labour Affairs Bureau (DSAL) has announced the opening of registrations for its 鈥淪killful Fun Carnival 2025鈥.

Held in honor of World Youth Skills Day, the event will take place on July 5 and 6 at Nova Mall in Taipa.

Starting June 26 (today) at 10 a.m., residents can pre-register for one of 12 hands-on workshops under the theme 鈥淐raftsmanship and New Skills.鈥

Skills range from traditional crafts, such as board carving and sewing, to modern technology experiences, including virtual reality journeys and creating videos with artificial intelligence tools. Other workshops include face painting, Chinese tea art, and dessert making.

Registration is open until 1 p.m. on July 3 and is limited to one workshop per Macau Resident Card. A parent or guardian must accompany participants under 12 years old. Those unable to register online may still attend the events and join workshops on site, subject to availability.
