Raigmore primary pupils get opportunity to discuss climate change with local businesses

A climate club from a local primary school had the chance to visit businesses at the Port of Inverness.

Creel Maritime Ltd and Scotlog hosted Raigmore Primary School鈥檚 Climate Club at the Port of Inverness.

The club was able to discuss the urgent need for reducing carbon emissions and explored topics such as TimberLink, HVO as an alternative fuel, and Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) as promising solutions.

It was an opportunity for the businesses to engage with the next generation about the importance of decarbonisation in the forest sector and beyond.

The students were incredibly knowledgeable and showed great engagement, thoughtfully considering the role electric transport can play in supporting our natural environment.
