The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has released the subject-wise syllabus for Classes 1 to 12 for the 2025-26 academic year. This revised syllabus, marks distribution was released on July 3 by the Punjab Board. This year, the syllabi for classes 1 to 4 has been released as a group, and similar for classes 6 and 7. However, the syllabus for Classes 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 has been provided separately. Additionally, the Punjab Board has also released the scheme of studies or the exam pattern for each of the classes. To check the updated syllabus, students and parents have to first visit the official website — pseb.ac.in. Then they have to hover over the drop-down menu of ‘Academics Wing’, in which ‘Syllabus’ option will be visible. After clicking on that ‘syllabus’ option, students will be able to see the updated documents of syllabus, marks distribution etc. Students and parents can download the documents of the respective class from there. PSEB has released English practical materials, including instructions, audio files and worksheets to make it easier for students. Punjab Board’s new academic session started on April 1 with new school timings of 8 am to 2 pm, for state schools, including all government, semi-government and aided schools.
