Primark customers have declared a “code orange” alert after spotting autumn-themed decorations on shelves, despite it still being summer. Even though most shoppers are still relishing summer decor, some are eager to dive into autumn shopping already and want to ‘spend all their money’. One fan keen to shop Primark’s new range praised the decor in a recent social media post. Sharing a TikTok video as @mariainesvv, UK-based blogger Maria Inês wrote: “Code orange at Primark!! I know it’s still June, but this makes me so excited.” In her video, Maria showcased a selection of autumnal decor, including a pumpkin and vanilla cream candle and a pumpkin spice reed diffuser. Her video gained over 80,000 views and 13,000 likes. It also prompted lots of excited comments from shoppers keen to shop the new range. Replying to the viral clip, a viewer said: “I’m off to primark tomorrow and I cannot wait now!!!!!” A second fan commented: “I can’t wait for autumn!!!” A third wrote: “Off I go to Primark oh my goodness.” A fourth said: “Primark for once this time take ALL my money.” Someone else said: “FINALLYYYYY.” A different comment read: “It’s all so pretty,” and another viewer praised: “Okay this makes me excited for autumn!” Maria responded: “Me too it’s so early but I already can’t wait haha.” Elsewhere, a shopper who had already stocked up on the range said: “I BOUGHT THE PUMPKIN SPICE VANILLA CANDLEEE IT SMELLS AMAZING.” Not everyone was so excited, though. One such viewer said: “Pleaaase no, I just wanted to enjoy the summer without autumn decoration in every shop.” Someone agreed, writing: “It’s only been summer for one day can we just wait with this, as much as I love it.” A social media user replied: “Ummm no? AUTUMN ALL YEAR.” A fellow fan echoed: “No cause it’s called summerween.” Shoppers ended up in a similar debate when an eagle-eyed customer recently spotted Halloween decorations in TK Maxx. Lots of social media users were eager to start shopping and supported the idea, but some had the opposite reaction. The divide was clear when Facebook Page Dansway Gifts and Bargains UK showed the stocked shelves, filled with seasonal items such as ghost ornaments and skull decorations. The post said: ” Halloween Home Ornaments are starting to arrive in store at TK Maxx already!” One unimpressed customer said: “No no NO ….. let’s have summer first before we start seeing autumn things ….. jeeeez way too early!!” On the other hand, someone said: “We need a shopping date! I need all of this.” Someone esle added: “It’s everywhere tempting me already.” While TK Maxx offers a selection of products online and in stores, the Primark range is not yet available on the brand’s website.
