So it’s just a throwing stick.
The Rabbitstick: The Not So Primitive Hunting Weapon
Though to be fair even actual returning boomerangs are just throwing sticks if they hit anything.

Leave it to the BBC to get cultures mixed up in an educational article. Could have actually gone with ‘throwing stick’ and made a commentary about the convergent technologies of Neolithic peoples across the world, but nope, ‘it’s a stick so it’s gotta be a boomerang, and a substandard one at that. Stoopid Poles.’

I polished an archeologist a few times. She was hot as the sun’s balls in August, 100% worth it.
/she did own a bullwhip, but it didn’t come into play, fortunately

A boomerang is a toy. A throwing stick is a hunting weapon. They’re very different things.
