Awarded in three classes鈥擟ompanion, Officer, and Member鈥擬odi received the Officer (OSG) grade, symbolized by a seven-pointed star and sash in red, yellow, and green鈥攖he colours of the Ghanaian flag.

In his acceptance speech, PM Modi expressed deep gratitude, sharing:

India-Ghana relationship elevated to a Comprehensive Partnership, spanning trade, technology, defence, healthcare, and FinTech.
India pledged to support Ghana鈥檚 鈥楩eed Ghana鈥 programme, establish a Skill Development Centre, and double ITEC and ICCR scholarships.
Launch of Jan Aushadhi Kendra in Ghana, cooperation on vaccine production, and introduction of UPI digital payments aimed at doubling bilateral trade in five years.
Modi committed to India’s continued partnership as 鈥渁 trusted friend and development partner,鈥 reinforcing shared democratic values.

This is the 24th global honour received by Modi, affirming his position as one of the most internationally decorated Indian leaders.
