People left in hysterics after workmen's reaction to woman's hen do disaster

A British woman found herself in need of assistance from strapping local workmen during a hen party mishap in France, leaving onlookers envious of her unexpected plight. Bride-to-be Angelique Joan took to TikTok with a humorous video recounting her friend’s dilemma as they celebrated in Cannes, located in the southern France. “When your friend’s shoe breaks in the middle of your hen do in Cannes, find some construction guys who have access to glue,” Angelique captioned the footage. When the sole of her pal’s high-heeled sandal detached from the shoe, two French tradesmen were fortunately on hand nearby to fix the blunder using their industrial-strength adhesive gun. As one worker held the damaged shoe up, an astonished Angelique, donning bridal wear, couldn’t contain her amazement, shaking her head and exclaiming: “Unbelievable.” Upon completion of the repair, the men received applause for their handy work from an audience that had gathered to observe their craftsmanship. The tradesmen’s skills also won over TikTok viewers, with one commenting: “Why is this attractive?!” Another quipped: “I will have give them my number! Love men who can resolve problems.” A third person added: “We have a couple of men left in the world after all.” While a fourth TikTok user commended them: “The sheer concentration and dedication of those men!” Angelique responded by saying: “People are SO nice in south of France.” Three days earlier, meanwhile, Angelique had uploaded a video confessing her complete ignorance about the destination of her upcoming hen do. “My hen do starts tomorrow and my girlfriend’s are flying me somewhere and I have no idea where,” she revealed. Angelique elaborated: “I have no idea about anything. I wanted it that way – I wanted the surprise because how rare is it that you get a surprise in life?” She expressed her desire for the unexpected, trusting her maids of honour to organise an unforgettable event. “I wanted nothing to do with the planning – I trust my two maids of honour so I know it is going to be amazing. All I know is it will be somewhere warm and there’s a beach.” Reflecting on the situation with a sense of anticipation, Angelique concluded with foreshadow somewhat: “So what could go wrong? I have not idea what to expect. I’ll take you on the journey with me – I am so excited.” In prompted one woman to reply: “I want to know everything, I absolutely hate a surprise. But I love surprising other people. It’s lovely they’re doing that for you!” While a second confessed: “I love the idea of a surprise but, I’m a very type A person! I like to know what to pack! I’m too self conscious for surprises.”
