Pakistan launches heritage, culture digitization drive

Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, announced that Pakistan has launched an initiative to digitize its cultural heritage and traditions. While speaking at a forum in Beijing titled “Civilizational Exchange and Mutual Learning: Cultural Heritage and Innovation,” he said the digitization project will help preserve Pakistan鈥檚 rich cultural history while enabling the youth to reinterpret and leverage it in shaping a brighter future. The minister described China as Pakistan鈥檚 鈥淚ron Brother,鈥 emphasizing that the two nations share more than just borders, they share mountains, rivers, a deep-rooted civilization, and a long-standing historical bond. He highlighted that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is more than a trade route; it is also a pathway of friendship that includes art, culture, and food.
