Beirut, July 05 (QNA) – One person was killed, and four others were injured today in Israeli shelling targeting two areas in southern Lebanon.
Lebanese ministry of public health reported in a statement that an Israeli drone struck a car in the Saf Al-Hawa area of ​​Bint Jbeil, resulting in one death and two injuries.
The Ministry added that another Israeli drone targeted a car in the town of Shaqra in the Bint Jbeil district, resulting in two people being seriously injured and requiring their transfer to intensive care.
On November 27, a ceasefire agreement in Lebanon went into effect stipulating the withdrawal of Israeli forces from border villages and towns in the south of the country within 60 days. The Lebanese government subsequently agreed to extend the deadline until February 18. However, Israel remained at five points and continued its violations. (QNA)
