Olivia Rodrigo’s fans were left sending her the same message as she spoke out after being the final headliner of Glastonbury Festival 2025. The 22-year-old singer made her Glastonbury debut in 2022 when she took on the Other Stage. However, as she performed on the Pyramid Stage on Sunday (June 29), it made her the second youngest solo headliner in the festival’s history, after Billie Eilish. The pop star walked onto the main stage wearing a white lace dress before she started singing Obsessed, which featured on her 2023 Guts album. Olivia subsequently turned to the crowd and said: “How are we doing tonight, Glastonbury? Holy f****** s***, I don鈥檛 think I鈥檝e ever seen so many people in my life. Guys, it鈥檚 the last night of the festival. Are you ready to have some fun?” The chart-topping star’s set also featured performances of Ballad of a Homeschooled Girl, Vampire and Drivers Licence, the 2021 single that proved to be a turning point in Olivia’s music career. The singer was later joined on stage by Robert Smith from The Cure. Before her guest appeared on stage, Olivia said: “I鈥檓 so wildly excited about this next guest. “He is perhaps the best songwriter to come out of England, he is a Glastonbury legend and a personal hero of mine.” While fans of the talented singer were pleased to see her perform on the main stage, other viewers weren’t convinced and flocked to social media to suggest The Prodigy should have got the main slot, as they took to the Other Stage at the same time. Pushing that aside, Olivia has took to Instagram to reflect on her huge performance, with her heading straight to Manchester from Glastonbury to perform her re-scheduled gig at Co-op Live. Alongside a string of photos from her set, she said: “Headlining Glastonbury was quite literally just like a dream. thank you especially to Robert Smith for playing two of my favorite songs of all time on stage with me last night. “And also for writing on my t shirt backstage (I am keeping it forever). I am so grateful to everyone who came out and sang and jumped. A night I will never ever forget.” And fans were quick to say the same thing in response. @georgianadumapit said: “you absolute angel rockstar so proud of you.” @marinadurieux commented: “always so proud of you livy! you deserve all the good things in the world.” @karlawalle wrote: “I鈥檓 so sooo proud of you.” @fran.sanderss replied: “queeeeen!!! so proud of you!” @oliviarodrigoclothing posted: “A legacy in the making!
