The moment is almost here, the Gallagher brothers are set to hit the stage in Cardiff as their epic Oasis reunion begins with the huge tour heading out around the UK this summer.
Fans watching on and suffering from FOMO could still have a chance to grab a ticket for what could just be the tour of the decade.
With the only Scottish dates taking place at Murrayfield Stadium on August 8, 9, and 12 – this will be the first shows the Gallagher brothers have performed together in 16 years.
Due to massive demand, tickets sold out very quickly – leaving many fans seeking alternative ways of making it through the gate come August.
Twickets says there’s still a chance to get tickets up for re-sale at face value, but its founder Richard Davies reiterated that fans should follow guidance and use only authorised resale platforms to sell or purchase tickets.
Launched in 2011, Twickets’ sellers can list tickets on the app and website for free. A human moderator then checks each ticket prior to listing, and buyers pay an average of 12.5 per cent booking fee. When a buyer is found they have to agree to a predetermined delivery mechanism (set by the seller) which includes e-ticket, in-app transfer, post, meet up, or collection at a retail outlet.
Richard added that demand for the tour is huge as the platform has already helped fans re-sell and buy several thousand tickets safely.
Twickets has previously partnered with both Noel and Liam Gallagher on their solo tours, and is used by artists including Ed Sheeran, Elton John and Stormzy. For those still hoping to attend the Murrayfield gig, Davies has advised fans to remain vigilant, and patient.
Richard said 鈥淲hen looking for resale tickets, timing is crucial. Most listings appear closer to the event, especially in the final week.
“We often see last-minute listings pop up even on the event day itself. If tickets are marked 鈥榓ccepting offers,鈥 that鈥檚 often a great opportunity to negotiate and get a fair deal.
鈥淏eing flexible and quick to act is the best way to land a ticket at a good price.鈥
