Oasis at Heaton Park - stage times, support, entry gates, how to get there and everything else you need to know

The Oasis Live ’25 tour is officially underway, and as you might expect the opening shows this weekend were “biblical”. On Friday and Saturday night, Liam and Noel Gallagher reunited on stage at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium for epic performances of some of their biggest hits. The tour, which was announced last summer will include 19 dates across the UK and Ireland over the next few months. The band will play five dates in Manchester – the 11,12,16,19 and 20 of July at Heaton Park – with around 340,000 gig-goers expected in total, plus all the music fans descending on the city. They’ll then head to Wembley in London, the Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh and Croke Park in Dublin before heading oversees for a series of international dates in North and South America, Australia and Asia. This weekend’s shows marked the first live performances together since 2009, when a long-running feud between Noel and Liam culminated in a dramatic backstage fight and subsequent split. Join our Oasis WhatsApp group here The brothers have carved out successful careers since the band split though, with ten UK number one albums between them as well as sold-out tours and a number of festival headline sets. However, fans were euphoric last August when they announced they had buried the hatchet and were heading out on a world tour, Oasis Live ’25. The news of the pair’s reunion sparked massive interest with every date on the tour selling out, with prices soaring and some criticism surrounding ‘dynamic pricing’. Below, we take a look at all the essential information you’ll need if you’re heading to the band’s homecoming shows at Heaton Park. You can follow all our Oasis coverage here too. After two nights in Cardiff, Oasis will head to Heaton Park in Manchester for five nights. They’ll kick off the homecoming with shows on Friday, July 11 and Saturday, July 12, before a mid-week performance on Wednesday, 16 July. Their final two Manchester shows will take place on Saturday, 19 July and Sunday, July 20. Heaton Park gates open at 3pm. The music will finish at 10:30pm but food vendors will remain open until 11pm. Ticket agents will send correspondence relating to the ticket gate and entrance you need to head to depending on whether you have general admission or front standing. There is no dedicated accessible entrance, all entrances will have a wider lane suitable for accessible customers. As long as all guests have access to their own tickets you can arrive at your chosen time. Each ticket has it’s own unique bar code to be scanned on entry. A spokesperson for Ticketmaster confirmed to the Manchester Evening News: “The event organiser will switch on ticket transfer 48 hours ahead of the show, so fans can transfer to friends/family arriving at separate times.” You will not be able to leave the concert and re-enter so make sure you have your ticket. The first support act announced was Richard Ashcroft, the former lead singer of The Verve, who are behind hits including Bitter Sweet Symphony and The Drugs Don’t Work. Having broken out in the music scene at a similar time as Oasis, Ashcroft gained a close friendship with Liam and Noel after The Verve supported them back in 1993. The second support act are 90s band Cast, led by former La’s bassist John Power The band, who emerged in 1992, are known for hits including Flying, Free Me and Beat Mama, last year supported Liam on his Definitely Maybe 30 Years tour, which included four shows at Co-op Live last June.
