Nivin Pauly and Akhil Sathyan’s film titled ‘Sarvam Maya’
Set for Christmas release, ‘Sarvam Maya’ is set to have Preity Mukhundhan and Riya Shibu as the female leads.
Nivin Pauly’s upcoming film, under the direction of Akhil Sathyan’s now has a title— Sarvam Maya.
Announcing the title along with the first look poster, Nivin Pauly wrote on X: “The Ghost next door! Sarvam Maya. 2025 Christmas Release”

Set for Christmas release, Sarvam Maya is set to have Preity Mukhundhan and Riya Shibu as the female leads.
The director’s debut film with Fahadh Faasil, Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum (2023), is a message-oriented film that flaunts good performances by the lead actors and a strong message: The right to education for girl children. The movie was a success at the box office.
Speaking with South First earlier, Akhil Sathyan said, Nivin Pauly was his first choice for his debut film too, “But by the time I finished writing Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum, he got busy with other projects.”
On the technical front, cinematographer Sharan Velayudhan, music director Justin Prabhakaran, production designer Rajeevan, and sound designer Anil Radhakrishnan have been roped in. Sarvam Maya is being produced by Ajayya Kumar and Rajeev Menon under the banner of Fire Fly Films, in association with Akhil’s own production label.
Other projects
Apart from this project, the actor also has Dear Students with Nayanthara, Multiverse Manmadhan, LCU’s Benz, and one web series in the pipeline.
Multiverse Manmadhan is being touted as India’s first multiverse superhero movie. Helmed by Enkilum Chandrike director Adithyan Chandrasekhar, the film is co-written by Anandhu S Raj and Nithiraj.
Nivin Pauly and Tamil director Ram have come together for their upcoming film Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai.
The film premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) and has already garnered appreciation from the international audience.
Nivin Pauly, Anjali, and Soori play the lead roles in the movie. Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. NK Ekhambram is the cinematographer. Suresh Kamatchi produced it under the banner of V House Productions.
Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai is touted to be a psychological romantic thriller and is set to release in March.
Nivin Pauly is also set to make his OTT debut with the web series Pharma. The series will soon premiere on Jio Hotstar.
Pharma follows the struggle of a middle-class boy who joins the pharmaceutical industry as a medical representative in his 20s.
