Nitin Gadkari condemns alleged assault on NHAI official by Himachal minister; demands CM action

Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari on Tuesday condemned the alleged assault on Achal Jindal, Manager of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) Project Implementation Unit (PIU) Shimla.Describing the incident as 鈥渄eeply reprehensible and an affront to the rule of law,鈥 the union minister stressed that such brutality against a government officer not only threatens individual safety but also undermines the integrity of public institutions.鈥 nitin_gadkari (@nitin_gadkari) 鈥淚 have taken serious cognizance of the matter and spoken with the Chief Minister, Shri Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu Ji, urging immediate and exemplary action against all perpetrators,鈥 Gadkari said in a statement posted on social media platform X (formerly Twitter). 鈥淎ccountability must prevail, and justice must be delivered without delay.鈥 Live Events(You can now subscribe to our Economic Times WhatsApp channel)
