New Scottish Korean fried chicken spot Who's Cafe opens in Glasgow southside

A new Scottish Korean fried chicken spot has opened in the southside offering a selection of innovative Asian-fusion dishes.

Owners Ellen and Ivan have brought their Who’s Cafe concept to Shawlands following a successful launch in Paisley, with food fans able to enjoy a variety of savoury Korean dishes including juicy burgers, brunches and loaded wraps from the new Pollokshaws Road venue.

On what people can expect from the new food spot, the pair said: “Come hungry, leave happy at Who鈥檚 Cafe. Our chef, Ivan, has worked in 5-star and 6-star international hotels and Michelin star-rated fine dining restaurants.

“He is passionate about serving delicious, innovative and unique fusion cuisine. We want to inspire everyone and bring a little joy to your life. You have spoiled us with your kindness, and now we want to spoil you in return. It is not just about business: it is about commitment.”

Opening hours are Tuesday to Thursday 12pm until 8pm, Friday to Sunday 12pm until 9pm for sit in and takeaway, and they offer everything from their all day brunches and fusion fried chicken to a range of Korean fried chicken burgers and and wraps.

Open now, the new spot follows other exciting additions to the area such as Japanese coffee house Showa, which opened on Minard Road, and Paesano Southside, which opened just up the road at the former Di Maggio’s on the corner of Pollokshaws Road and Minard Road.
