The Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) Fund has brought its “MVA Fund on Wheels” community outreach programme to the Khomas Region, providing services from 26 to 28 June. This initiative aims to bring the Fund’s services closer to residents.
The three-day program is designed to boost public awareness on crucial road safety issues, streamline the registration of new claims, and efficiently address inquiries regarding existing claims.
“During the three-day community outreach programme, community members will receive assistance with registering claims and resolving any claim-related issues,” they added.
They said their team will visit the communities of Samora Machel at the Goreangab Soccer field on 26 June, the Tobias Hainyeko Constituency office on 27 June, and the Moses Garoeb Constituency office on 28 June. “As part of our ongoing efforts to foster a culture of road safety, we will also conduct public education sessions with these communities. These sessions will focus on general road safety awareness, the claim process, our benefits and services, while also promoting the Toll-Free MVA Fund’s Accident Response Number 9682,” they emphasised.
The Fund said as an institution entrusted with supporting individuals affected by road crashes, they remain committed to reaching more communities, especially those in under-served and marginalised areas, by bringing their services directly to the people.
