When it comes to moving from one country to another- it’s mostly for better job opportunities, elevated lifestyle, better education, money or such. However, when this Indian woman decided to move to the US from India- it was allegedly for ‘freedom’. Taking to her social media, the woman- Divya Saini- shared how she moved to the US 4 years ago, not in search of ‘money’ or such but in search of ‘freedom’. She clarified how she still loves India, but also shared how her decision as a woman turned out to be for her greater good. As per the woman’s online post, she ‘never truly felt free’ in India ‘as a woman’. She further shared that living in the US changed her- making her more ‘confident, assertive, and unafraid to build something of my own’. As soon as the post was shared, it went viral- drawing mixed reactions. Some agreed with the woman and shared their similar experiences, while a few commented on how she possibly moved to the US for ‘money’ as well. Times Now could not confirm the authenticity of the post. “Exactly 4 years ago, I moved to the US. Not for money, but for freedom. I love India, but as a woman, I never truly felt free there. And living in the US has changed me. I’m more confident, assertive, and unafraid to build something of my own. I guess there’s something in the air,” the post read. As a migrant, that’s often the main intention for many,” a user said. “The least I can say is embrace every culture, I get frustrated when my parents keep asking me for food while I am working but when I am away I miss that ask,” added a second person. “That’s incredible! What specific differences in freedom have you noticed?” asked a third. “Almost a year since I was in the US, I felt a different vibe, environment and enthusiasm. Never felt this confident, this bold and overcome my fears! Also met a lot of cracked people building crazy things! now using this opportunity to build something great!! Atb!” added another.
