Doha, July 03 (QNA) – The Ministry of Culture will participate in Expo 2025, held in Osaka, Japan, through an event celebrating “Qatar National Day,” scheduled for July 8.
The event aims to highlight Qatari culture and its artistic and heritage diversity.
The National Day celebration program includes musical performances by Qatari singer Mansoor Al Muhannadi, alongside a Qatari band presenting pieces inspired by the local environment with a contemporary spirit, as well as a traditional folk band showcasing authentic Qatari heritage arts and popular chants performed at social and national occasions.
The event will also feature elements from Qatar’s authentic cultural environment, such as “Muqahwi”, a personØ¢ who serves Arabic coffeeØ¢ to guests, in a traditional style reflecting Qatari hospitality. Additionally, a calligrapher who will display classical Arabic calligraphy arts to visitors and offer to write their names in Arabic as symbolic gifts.
The Ministry of Culture’s participation comes as part of a strategy aimed at enhancing cultural understanding and building bridges of communication between peoples through shared arts and heritage.
Expo 2025 Osaka is one of the most prominent global events attracting participants from around the world. It represents an ideal platform for exchanging knowledge and expertise and highlighting diverse cultures and future initiatives in sustainable development, innovation, and the arts. (QNA)
