The Midlands has another claim to fame, this time boasting the cheapest average price for a pint in the UK. Pints in the region average 拢4.68, while the UK average now sits at 拢4.83, according to The Sun. Wrexham, on the other hand, is the cheapest city to down a pint, with beers here as low as 拢2. The survey revealed that pint prices in the Midlands increased by 5.15% between January and April, while London bucked the trend with a 1.22% decrease since February. As for the most expensive, Witney in Oxfordshire has secured that unfortunate title. It has been found to be 50p more expensive have London.
