Just weeks after Unni Mukundan rubbished the chances of Marco 2 being made, the film’s producers have shared a post that contradicts his views. In a response to a comment by a netizen, Cube Entertainments, the producers of the film have stated that ‘discussions’ around the Marco series aren’t over yet, indicating that there will be a sequel in the works. Marco 2 To Begin Without Unni Mukundan? Makers Say: We Are Not Open To… Producers of the film Marco, Cubes Entertainments recently revealed that the sequel to Marco is still on the cards. The news comes amid recent claims by Unni Mukundan that the sequel plans have been dropped. The production company Cube Entertainments shared their plans for a sequel while replying to a comment on Instagram which read. 鈥淵ou should make Marco 2. If Cubes Entertainments can鈥檛 do it, then you should sell the rights to another production team. Marco is an amazing movie, its sequel is one of the most awaited movies.” The comment read “Thank you for the overwhelming love and support for Marco. Discussions regarding the Marco series are still not over yet. Cubes Entertainments exclusively owns all rights to the Marco, and we firmly believe the journey of Marco holds immense potential. Please note: We are not open to transferring or sharing the rights of this franchise,鈥 wrote Cubes Entertainment. What Did Unni Mukundan Say About Marco Sequel? A few week’s ago, Unni Mukundan shared a video on his Instagram handle showing his physical transformation, under which a fan asked, 鈥淢arco 2kab ayegi?鈥 (When will Marco 2 release?). 鈥淏ro, apologies but I have dropped plans to continue the Marco series. Too much negativity around the project. I鈥檒l try my best to bring something bigger and better than Marco. Thanks for all the love and positivity.
