Man Accused in $800K Luxury Car Thefts and Kidnapping Connection

A茂禄驴 Sydney inmate has been charged over his alleged involvement in a kidnapping and the theft of luxury cars worth over $800,000.

The 21-year-old man was arrested at Silverwater jail at 9.20am yesterday, with police alleging he stole 茂禄驴cars to supply vehicles to 茂禄驴organised crime groups.

The investigation started on February 27 after police officers in the North Parramatta area saw three men running from a car while wearing balaclavas茂禄驴.

Officers searched the car and allegedly uncovered mobile phones, duct tape, flexi cuffs and a baseball bat. 茂禄驴

All three men have since been charged over their alleged role in the kidnapping.

They remain before the courts.

In May, police allegedly linked the 21-year-old man to 鈥渉aving a direct involvement鈥 in the theft of a Haval vehicle, which was to be used in the kidnapping at Parramatta.

Detectives will allege the man also stole a Bentley and Rolls-Royce worth over $800,000 in March. (NSW Police Force)

Investigators also allege the man stole a Rolls-Royce and a Bentley, worth over $800,000 combined, in March.

The man was charged with 茂禄驴aggravated breaking and entering, stealing over the value of $60,000, taking and driving a car without consent and other offences.

He was 茂禄驴remanded in custody and appeared in Parramatta Local Court yesterday.
