The man was subject to an investigation by the PSNI’s human trafficking unit for human trafficking offences and transferring criminal property which occurred in October 2017.

He is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court later today.

“We continue to work closely with our International Law Enforcement partners around the world to bring offenders to justice,” PSNI Constable Willie Dynes from the International Policing Unit said.

“The Police Service of Northern Ireland is committed to fighting crime and this extradition delivers on our assurance of the relentless pursuit of perpetrators and supporting victims.”
