Malayalam cinema’s iconic actor Mammootty, has mesmerised fans with his latest look. No, we’re not talking about his look for a film, but it is the actor’s latest image which has amazed his followers. The photo comes in the time when reports of his ill health have been doing the rounds on social media. However, going by the comments given by trusted aides, it looks like he is better and ready to spring into action, doing what he loves best: working in films. Mammootty’s Latest Picture Goes Viral On Social Media, Fans Express Excitement Dressed in a green shirt and white pants, Mammootty is seen casually looking at his phone. He looks effortlessly stylish. The photo, taken by Mammootty’s team member Nasir Mohammed, was shared online. Fans took to the comments section to heap praise on the actor’s smart avatar. One fan said “Mammukka鈥檚 new look is fire!”, 鈥’He鈥檚 back in style, bro!”. Mammootty’s Health Scare It has to be noted that this picture comes as a huge delight for fans, since this is one of the actor’s rare photos published online after his health scare. Mammootty has been in the news recently due to rumours about his health. Following multiple reports, including speculation about cancer, Rajya Sabha MP and close friend John Brittas recently denied all such claims. Clearing the air, he confirmed that the actor is doing fine. He told Reporter Live, “Mammootty is suffering from a minor health complication and is currently receiving treatment. He is okay, and I just had a phone conversation with him.” Earlier in April 2025, Mammootty鈥檚 team had issued a statement debunking the cancer rumours, labelling them 鈥渇ake news.鈥 They clarified, “It is fake news. He is on vacation because he is fasting for Ramzan. He is on a break from his shoot schedule as well because of that. In fact, after the break, he will go back to shooting for Mahesh Narayanan鈥檚 film with Mohanlal.” Mammootty’s next major project is a much-anticipated film Patriot, directed by Mahesh Narayanan, where he will share screen space with Mohanlal. The film is described as an action thriller featuring a star-studded cast, including Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban, Nayanthara, Darshana Rajendran, and others.
