Makinde for 52nd AAAN AGM/Congress

The Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN) will hold its 52nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Congress at JAGZ Hotel, Ibadan, from July 17鈥19.

This year鈥檚 theme is: 鈥淐harting Bold Paths Forward鈥.

The event will feature cultural heritage, dialogue, and celebration. On the first day the delegates will pay a courtesy visit to Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, Senator Rasheed Ladoja.

The conference, which will begin the following day, will be declared open by Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde. Other dignitaries expected include the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris Malagi, and his Art, Culture, as well as Creative Economy counterparts, Hannatu Musa Musawa, alongside the Director-General, Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON), Dr. Lekan Fadolapo.

The keynote address will be delivered by the Executive Vice President & Group Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, Interswitch Group, Dr. Cherry Eromosele, followed by a panel discussion chaired by Group CEO of Insight Publicis Group Nigeria, Dr. Tayo Oyedeji.

The panel speakers include Josiah Akinola of Nigerian Breweries PLC; Bolanle Osotule of Airtel Nigeria; George Onukwu of TBWA\Concept; Oluwatobi Williams of 7even Interactive; and Adedamola Richard鈥慡alvador of Digisplash Limited

AAAN President, Mr. Lanre Adisa, noted: 鈥淭his is not the time to tiptoe around the future. Boldness is not a buzzword but the only language the future understands. In a landscape defined by constant change, boldness is not a gamble but a strategic imperative. Those who will lead tomorrow are those willing to question today.鈥欌

The final day of the event will have two segments: Business Session and Gala/Award Night.
