The 17th UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN) annual conference took place on June 23-24 in Enghien-les-Bains, France. Over 450 delegates from 200 cities worldwide gathered under the theme 鈥淐ulture and Artificial Intelligence: Shaping the Future of UNESCO Creative Cities.鈥 Macau鈥檚 delegation, led by Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes (MGTO) and Deland Leong (IC), showcased Macau鈥檚 designation as Culture City of East Asia 2025 and promoted its flourishing gastronomy sector. The MGTO director highlighted the upcoming second 鈥淚nternational Cities of Gastronomy Fest, Macao鈥 in July, following its inaugural edition last year. The conference featured discussions on AI integration, sustainable urban development, and creative exchange within the global creative community.
