On Thursday, Love Island USA Season 7 took a dramatic turn with a public vote and recoupling, leading to the elimination of five islanders. The episode airing on Peacock at 9:00 pm ET left the fans shocked as it followed a tense fallout from a game where the Islanders sent postcards with sharp questions, sparking conflicts and arguments.
A public vote identified Austin Shephard, Andreina Santos, Gracyn Blackman, Taylor Williams, Jaden Duggar, and TJ Palma as the least favourite Islanders. Safe islanders were given the power to save one person by voting, and they chose to save Taylor, which resulted in the elimination of the other five contestants. After these five Islanders鈥 shocking departure, the recoupling left Iris, Bryan and Pepe single.
This latest episode picked up from a previous game that exposed high tensions among Huda Mustafa, Olandria Carthen, and Chris Seeley. In the previous game, Huda clashed with Olandria over her pursuit of Chris, despite his clear interest in Michelle 鈥淐helley鈥 Bissainthe. Although Huda survived this elimination, the public vote announced by host Ariana Madix shocked the contestants as the bottom five Islanders faced immediate elimination.
In the previous episodes, Charlie Georgiou, Jeremiah Brown, and Hannah Fields were eliminated as Casa Amor introduced new bombshells and shook things up at the villa. The latest 5-person elimination marked the largest elimination in the season, leaving only 20 contestants at the villa. This recent elimination reflected the show鈥檚 accelerated pace of approaching the finale. However, the results left fans stunned as the elimination featured those contestants who were perceived as more genuine or entertaining than others, further showcasing the disconnection between the show鈥檚 participants and its audiences.

As per Deadline reports, the streaming platform revealed that this season of Love Island USA has reached an audience high as Casa Amor began. The show airs every day except Wednesdays on Peacock at 7:00 pm ET.
